Starbucks launches first limited edition non-fungible tokens (NFT) stamps

Starbucks has launched its “Starbucks Odyssey” online loyalty program, also known as the “Web3 loyalty program”, which allows users to earn non-fungible tokens (NFT) called “Stamps” that cannot be exchanged, by solving puzzles or making purchases in stores and selling them in the future.

The company has also released its first limited edition set of these stamps called the “Siren Collection”, where stamps can be purchased for $100 each, and Starbucks Odyssey program members were able to purchase two stamps each upon release.

The site experienced technical issues upon launch, but the collection sold out completely in 18 minutes, with secondary prices exceeding $550.

The Starbucks Odyssey program aims to attract customers and create a close relationship between them and the brand, and was launched on the “Polygon” blockchain with a focus on the ability to purchase stamps using credit cards.
