IT Generation, the new project launched by Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation in collaboration with Binance and Lviv IT Cluster, set an ambitious goal of educating 60,000 software engineers.
The project is open to all Ukrainians aged 21-60 with no prior IT experience who aren’t currently enrolled in a higher education institution. Any educational background or work experience is welcomed; a recommended level of English proficiency is B1. The program is set to start in August.

“IT Generation is a large and important project for Ukrainians and the economy of Ukraine. It will allow thousands of Ukrainian citizens to master a new profession in the field of IT, having received free high-quality education. Thus we can solve the problem of staff shortage in IT, which will allow it to develop faster. It is equally important that IT Generation will allow people who have lost their jobs due to the war to find themselves in a new promising industry,” said
