Robinhood Causes a Stir by Removing Cardano, Solana, and Polygon

Robinhood, a financial services company based in Menlo Park, California, plans to remove three cryptocurrencies out of the twenty-eight with the largest market capitalization on June 27. This decision was announced in a blog post by Robinhood on June 9, stating that Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), and Polygon (MATIC) will be delisted from the Robinhood platform.

In a statement released on Friday, Robinhood said, “We regularly review the cryptocurrencies we offer on Robinhood. Based on our latest review, we have decided to end support for Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL) on June 27, 2023, at 6:59 PM Eastern Time.” The company assured users that “this change will not impact other cryptocurrencies, and your digital assets remain safe on Robinhood.”
