According to a report by broadcaster NHK, the Japanese division of the insolvent crypto exchange FTX is getting ready to resume customer withdrawals by year’s end.
Withdrawals cannot be resumed right now, according to exchange executive, because FTX Japan employs the same payment system as its parent firm, which is currently halted.
The end of the year is the target date which FTX Japan is planning to allow withdrawals.
