The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) stated that it would be working with the UNHCR to test a digital cash transfer system powered by Stellar to provide funding to Ukrainian refugees. According to the project’s website, the stablecoin USD Coin (USDC), which is distributed straight to recipients’ phones through Stellar Aid Assist, is already being used “to grant qualified Ukrainians” cash assistance.
Through the Stellar Blockchain, the UN will provide financial assistance to Ukrainians.
