Metaverse could generate $5 trillion in value by 2030, says McKinsey Analysis
The hype surrounding the emerging sub-ecosystem of cryptocurrencies, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has died down somewhat in the bear market of 2022, but the Metaverse remains well-positioned for long-term disruption.
According to an analysis by McKinsey & Company, the Metaverse has the potential to generate as much as $5 trillion in value by 2030, given the many consumer and enterprise-oriented use cases it can support.
