Samsung invests more than US$35 million in the Latin American metaverse

One of the world’s largest electronics groups, Samsung, recently announced that it is committing more than $35 million to Metaverse efforts for Latin American customers.
Anita Caerols, Head of Marketing and Corporate Citizenship at Samsung Electronics Chile, believes that immersive platforms play a huge role in marketing and that the current metaverse is a logical extension of social media platforms, making it a interesting research area for Samsung.
