After the government’s top architect of cryptocurrency law announced the launch of a bill that might take effect on January 1, 2023, Russia may finally legalize cryptocurrency mining.
Anatoly Aksakov told RIA Novosti that the law would be read in the legislature the following month as a way to show that the bill would permit businesses to run crypto mining operations on Russian soil, provided that they keep their coins out of the Russian economy.
