In collaboration with Travelex Bank, Ripple has launched its cryptocurrency on-demand liquidity (ODL) service in Brazil, the company announced.
The ODL from Ripple uses XRP to hasten the exchange and transfer of fiat money between nations.
According to Ripple, Travelex is the first bank in Latin America to use ODL.
The bank was also the first to be registered with and permitted to conduct foreign exchange business by the Brazilian Central Bank.
