Musical star Miley Cyrus enters the world of Metaphores with two trademarks

American singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus is the last celebrity to transfer her name to metaverse, having officially advanced several brands associated with non-replaceable metaverse codes (NFT).

The music star known for her distinctive rough voice follows a large number of organizations and brands that entered the digital space after filing two trademark applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on August 16 for “Miley” and “Miley Cyrus” as NFT and brand lawyer Mike Kone in a tweet

According to Mr. Kondoudis, brand filings refer to the singer’s plans for NFTs, virtual currency management software, virtual clothing and shoes. Officially, brands are registered under serial numbers 97551201 and 97551195.

Other names enter metaverse

News of the American singer, songwriter and actress comes after fellow recorded artist Billie Eilish announced in May that her company Lash Music LLC had applied to record her name and logo Blohsh.

Eilish’s move was not a shock given that Universal Music Group (UMG) recently announced a partnership with the NFT Curio platform. Billie Eilish is one of UMG’s most popular recording artists.

Elsewhere, American rapper Snoop Dogg continues to expand his reach in NFTs and metaverse after applying for new brands for various products in June. SNOOP Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Brodos, introduced the application for UNCLE SNOOP and UNCLE SNOOP ‘S.

Since the advent of NFTs and metaverse, Snoop Dogg is among the celebrities who have embraced the concept in collaboration with various creators.

While legendary footballer David Beckham was another name who took his trademark to metaverse, he applied with California-based DB Ventures Limited, the venture capital company owned by the soccer star turned entrepreneur.

Finally, as Finbold reported, NFT-related brand orders are on the rise in the United States after exceeding 4,000 between January 1 and May 31, 2022, meaning nearly 27 new NFT brands were deposited daily in the first half of the year.
