GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), the largest technology company in Indonesia, entered the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry by acquiring local exchange PT Kripto Maksima Koin.
GoTo purchased all of the exchange’s shares for 124.84 billion rupiah ($8.38 million), acquiring ownership of the exchange.
The software company reportedly said that the acquisition was a component of a bigger plan to establish itself as a hub for various money management
