Record Difficulty Increases As Bitcoin Hash Rate Hits Record Highs
Bitcoin’s computing power surged in the first week of the year, hitting its first record high since 2023.
As of January 7th, statistics show that the Bitcoin hash rate has stabilized at around 290 EH/s after reaching an all-time high the previous day.
The record of around 347.16 EH/s printed at block height 762,845 on November 12, 2022 was beaten by more than 4% from the record of 361.20 EH/s set at block height 770,709 on January 6.
