Holders of ETH can lock their assets before the switchover thanks to the deposit contract on the Beacon Chain. 13,343,768 deposit contract addresses for ETH 2.0 have been reached, and the stake rate has surpassed 11.17%. Since August, 153,000 new ETHs have been staked, or about 36,000 added each week.
