Encrypted trusteeship and trading services will be provided by Fidelity Digital Assets, a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments.

Users will be able to trade for less than one dollar. While trades with Fidelity Crypto will be commission-free, the company said it will take into account a 1% spread in each commercial execution price.

Fidelity told CNBC on Thursday:

Much of Fidelity’s customers already care about and own cryptocurrencies. We provide them with tools to support their choice, so they can benefit from Fidelity’s education, research and technology.

Fidelity Digital Assets has been offering Bitcoin (BTC) services to institutional investors since 2018. The company recently added ether trading (ETH).
